  • 10 Dec 2020
  • 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM
  • free webinar

In this time of coronavirus and working at home, MWCC is pleased to offer an opportunity for you to relax over lunch with a continuation of our free webinars. So, grab your lunch and coffee, and join us!

Shortly after the “Stay-At-Home” orders were implemented by many states this past spring, Burns & McDonnell hosted a virtual round table where local governmental solid waste managers shared their perspective on the initial impacts of COVID-19 on their day-to-day operations.

Join our panel for a continuation of this discussion of COVID-19 driven program operational changes that are likely to have long term beneficial impacts on individual community programs such as:

  • Updating contingency operations plans to increase preparedness
  • Automating scale house services to increase efficiencies
  • Cross training staff to build team adaptability and resiliency
  • Gaining valuable insight on alternative solid waste and recycling collection practices

Our panelists for this presentation are:

  • Katie Council, Republic Services
  • Erick Roberts, City of Springfield Solid Waste Program
  • Kathrina Donegan, St. Louis County Public Health
  • Robert Craggs, Burns & McDonnell

The moderators will be Laura Drescher, Burns & McDonnell and Mike Sieczkowski, JRW Bioremediation.
