This year’s theme is “Balancing Environment and Economy” and we are specifically interested in presentations which can relate this theme of “balance” to technical topics. How do you balance the many needs pulling an issue in different directions? Do you appease the community, regulators, or elected officials? When are good operational practices limited by regulatory restrictions, and how to accomplish an acceptable result? What is the most useful way to evaluate project performance, what defines success?
